The Alchemist, within me!

My first book, when the reading bug got me, was “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho. This book needs no introduction, if you are hearing for the first time, check out a brief synopsis here. Wait, I’m not writing a book review here.

I don’t like fiction much. Novels, nah! But this fable got me in a new zone altogether. While I was reading for the first time, I got so connected to each word, each character, and started looking inside my heart.

It gave me direction, strength and support to take some important decisions.

Last few months have been full of new experiences, overwhelming feelings, and fresh emotions — That too amid the lockdown and COVID19. I don’t know what’s that — google just can’t tell that!

As a human being, we go through a lot of feelings at different point of time, love, hatred, anger, jealousy….the list is endless. The feelings may be transient — coming from a recent event or a past experience or our own thoughts. Then, What matters?

While I was contemplating it and asking myself about it, I realized that’s what inside everyone. Very cliche huh! Wait, let me elaborate.

How often it happens that you asked the universe/god “Aaj baarish hojaye”?…and then while your tea time comes, it starts raining?

Was it a coincidence? Maybe.

But what was the origin of all this? Why did that happen?

The origin was a purity of thought that you shared with the universe and the universe interacted back with you with making it happen.

That thought of your came from inside, inside your heart, inside your soul!

I know all this may seem bullshit to many, right now. You can only see these things when they happen to/with you. This also has many tangents to destiny, karma, law of attraction etc.

The continuous jinx, co-incidences or omens are a way of this universe to guide us in a certain direction. That what your intuition and gut feeling is! That’s the sound of soul talking!

We would be too foolish not to acknowledge them, respect them, and take action accordingly!

I read a few pages of alchemist today again. Connected the words looking back and overwhelmed by the way everything seemed so truthful! Overwhelmed with emotions at this moment.

Seems this book has answers to every question! Continuing reading it every day from now and revisit “The sound of the universe”!

Wanted to mention a lot of other instances…..To be continued! :)

Till then, Keep listening to your heart!
